Color Coat™ is a UV resistant, mixable, durable coating that restores or changes the color of velour, vinyl, carpet, and plastic. Aerosol Color Coat Bluemist (SEM SKU 15213) is sold in aerosol cans for easy use. Color Coat is OEM suggested and sold with 50 different colors and 3 different clear coats. Refresh vehicle interiors and even motorcycle seats using Aerosol Color Coat. Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in Bluemist

• Even though Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for drastic color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but shouldn’t be subject to abrasion or heavy use until 24 hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made ready for spraying.
• Vinyls can have excessive amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth finish they need SEM Tac Free.
• For matched colors, consider our line of SEM Color Coat in a one-quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Prepping Substrates for Use with Aerosol Color Coat in Bluemist

• To prepare for using Aerosol Color Coat, you will require other SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters, depending on the surface.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, apply SEM Soap and XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, use an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the type of plastic. With PVC or ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, EPDM, PP and other thermoplastics, apply XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow instructions exactly to ensure quality results.
