Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in Burgundy

• Aerosol Color Coat is not a dye, so should not be used for significantly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subjected to heavy use or scraping for 24 hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready to spray, right out from the can.
• Vinyls with high amounts of plasticizers may need SEM Tac Free for a smooth surface.
• When you require a matched color, consider using SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

How to Prep for Aerosol Color Coat in Burgundy

• To prepare for applying Aerosol Color Coat, you will require additional SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters, based on the substrate.
• For cleaning plastic and vinyl, apply SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, apply an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the kind of plastic. With ABS and PVC plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, TPO, EPDM and other thermoplastics, apply XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow instructions exactly to ensure the best possible results.
