Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in Super White

• Aerosol Color Coat is not a dye, so shouldn’t be used for significantly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subjected to heavy use or scraping for twenty-four hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready to spray, right out of the can.
• Vinyls with large amounts of plasticizers might need SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.
• If you need a matched color, try using SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

How to Prepare for Aerosol Color Coat in Super White

• For vinyl and plastic, always apply SEM Soap to clean the surface with a grey scruff pad.
• For velour and carpet, clean the substrate using an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner.
• Clean vinyl once more with Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean plastic once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Plastic & Leather Prep.
• Clean velour and carpet once more with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To promote adhesion on PVC or ABS plastics, SEM offers Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For EPDM, PP, TPO and other thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the directions for applying each of these products to ensure quality results.
