Facts About Aerosol Color Coat in Presidio

• Aerosol Color Coat isn’t a dye and should not be used for drastic color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but shouldn’t be subjected to heavy use or scraping for 24 hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready for spraying, right out from the can.
• Vinyls with excessive amounts of plasticizers can require SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.
• When you need a custom color, try using SEM Color Coat in a one-quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

How to Prep for Aerosol Color Coat in Presidio

• To prep for applying Aerosol Color Coat, you will require other SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters, based on the substrate.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, use SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, apply an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the type of plastic. With PVC and ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For EPDM, PP, TPO and other thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow directions closely to ensure quality results.
