Facts About Aerosol Color Coat in Medium Slate Gray

• Because Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but shouldn’t be subjected to scraping or heavy use until twenty-four hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made ready to spray.
• Vinyls can have excessive amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth finish they require SEM Tac Free.
• For custom colors, consider our line of SEM Color Coat in the one quart cone top, and the one gallon can.

Prepping Substrates for Application with Aerosol Color Coat in Medium Slate Gray

• For vinyl and plastic, always apply SEM Soap to clean the substrate with a grey scrubber.
• For velour and carpet, clean the surface using an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner.
• Clean vinyl once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• Clean plastic once more with Plastic & Leather Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean carpet and velour once more with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To encourage adhesion on PVC or ABS plastics, SEM provides Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For EPDM, PP, TPO and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
