Color Coat™ is a UV-resistant, mixable, durable coating to restore or change the color of most plastic, carpet, vinyl, and velour. Aerosol Color Coat Granite (SEM SKU 15053) comes in aerosol cans for easier use. Important Considerations for Using Aerosol Color Coat in Granite

• Aerosol Color Coat isn’t a dye, so it should not be used for drastic color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is fast drying but shouldn’t be subject to heavy use or scraping for twenty-four hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready to spray, right out of the can.
• Vinyls with large amounts of plasticizers might require SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.
• When you require a custom color, try using SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

How to Prep for Aerosol Color Coat in Granite

• To prep for using Aerosol Color Coat, you will need other SEM cleaners and adhesion promoters, based on the surface.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, use SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, use an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the type of plastic. With PVC or ABS plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion promoter. For TPO, EPDM, PP and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow directions exactly to ensure the best possible results.
