Facts About Aerosol Color Coat in Storm Gray

• Aerosol Color Coat isn’t a dye so should not be used for drastic color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subjected to heavy use or scraping for 24 hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready for spraying, right out from the can.
• Vinyls with excess amounts of plasticizers can require SEM Tac Free for a smooth surface.
• When you require a custom color, try using SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Prepping Surfaces for Application of Aerosol Color Coat in Storm Gray

• To prep for using Aerosol Color Coat, you will require other SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters, depending on the surface.
• For cleaning plastic and vinyl, use SEM Soap and XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, apply an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the type of plastic. With PVC and ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, PP, EPDM and other thermoplastics, apply XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow directions closely to ensure professional outcomes.
