Color Coat™ is a fade-resistant, flexible, durable coating to renew or change the color of most all carpet, vinyl, velour, and plastic. Aerosol Color Coat Shadow Blue (SEM SKU 15043) is offered in aerosol cans for simpler use. Color Coat is OEM suggested and available with 50 distinct colors and 3 different clear coats. Restore auto interiors and even motorcycle seats with Aerosol Color Coat. Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in Shadow Blue

• Because Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for drastic color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but should not be subjected to heavy use until 24 hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made ready to spray.
• Vinyls can have high amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth surface they need SEM Tac Free.
• For matched colors, consider our line of SEM Color Coat in the one quart cone top, and the one gallon can.

How to Prepare for Aerosol Color Coat in Shadow Blue

• To prepare for using Aerosol Color Coat, you will need additional SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters, depending on the surface.
• For cleaning plastic and vinyl, apply SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, use an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the kind of plastic. With ABS or PVC plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, TPO, EPDM and other thermoplastics, apply Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow directions exactly to ensure quality outcomes.
