Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in Thomas Bus Gray

• Aerosol Color Coat is not a dye and should not be used for significantly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is fast drying but should not be subjected to heavy use or for twenty-four hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready for spraying, right out of the can.
• Vinyls with large amounts of plasticizers may require SEM Tac Free for a smooth surface.
• When you need a matched color, consider using SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Prepping Substrates for Application of Aerosol Color Coat in Thomas Bus Gray

• To prep for applying Aerosol Color Coat, you will require additional SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters, based on the substrate.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, use SEM Soap and XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, use an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the type of plastic. With PVC or ABS plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, EPDM, PP and other thermoplastics, apply Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
