Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in Camel

• Aerosol Color Coat isn’t a dye, so should not be applied for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subject to heavy use or scraping for 24 hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is prepped for spraying, right out of the can.
• Vinyls with excess amounts of plasticizers may require SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.
• If you need a matched color, consider using SEM Color Coat in the one-quart cone top, and the one gallon can.

How to Prep for Aerosol Color Coat in Camel

• For vinyl and plastic, always use SEM Soap to clean the substrate by using a grey scrubber.
• For carpet and velour, clean the substrate with an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleanser.
• Clean vinyl once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• Clean plastic once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Plastic & Leather Prep.
• Clean velour and carpet again with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To promote adhesion on ABS or PVC plastics, SEM offers Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For EPDM, TPO, PP and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the directions for using each of these products to guarantee the best outcomes.
