Color Coat™ is a fade resistant, versatile, long lasting coating to restore or change the color of most all plastic, carpet, velour, and vinyl. Aerosol Color Coat Silver Metallic (SEM SKU 15083) is available in aerosol cans for simple use. Color Coat is OEM recommended and available with 50 different colors and three different clear coats. Refinish car interiors and even motorcycle seats with Aerosol Color Coat. Facts About Aerosol Color Coat in Silver Metallic

• Even though Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but should not be subjected to or heavy use until twenty-four hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made prepped to spray.
• Vinyls can have large amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth finish they require SEM Tac Free.
• For mixed colors, consider our line of SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Prepping Substrates for Application with Aerosol Color Coat in Silver Metallic

• For vinyl and plastic, always use SEM Soap to clean the surface by using a grey scrubber.
• For carpet and velour, clean the surface by using an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser.
• Clean vinyl again with Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean plastic once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Plastic & Leather Prep.
• Clean velour and carpet again with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To encourage adhesion on PVC and ABS plastics, SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, EPDM, TPO and other thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the instructions for applying each of these products to guarantee professional results.
