Facts About Aerosol Color Coat in Palomino

• Because Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but should not be subject to abrasion or heavy use until 24 hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made ready to spray.
• Vinyls can have large amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth surface they need SEM Tac Free.
• For mixed colors, try our line of SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Prepping Substrates for Use with Aerosol Color Coat in Palomino

• For vinyl and plastic, always use SEM Soap to clean the substrate by using a grey scruff pad.
• For velour and carpet, clean the substrate using an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleaner.
• Clean vinyl again with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• Clean plastic once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Plastic & Leather Prep.
• Clean carpet and velour again with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To encourage adhesion on ABS and PVC plastics, SEM provides Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, EPDM, TPO and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the directions for using each of these products to guarantee quality outcomes.
