Use Color Coat™ in White when you need a mixable, UV resistant, and durable coating to revitalize or change the color of vinyl, velour, carpet, and plastic. OEM suggested, Aerosol Color Coat features fifty different colors and three different clear coats. Color Coat in White (SEM SKU 15313) is sold in readily used aerosol cans. Color Coat’s quality lets you refinish vehicle interiors, and it even lets you apply Aerosol Color Coat to motorcycle seats. Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in White

• Because Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but should not be subject to or heavy use until twenty-four hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made prepped to spray.
• Vinyls can have large amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth surface they require SEM Tac Free.
• For mixed colors, consider our line of SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

How to Prepare for Aerosol Color Coat in White

• For plastic and vinyl, always use SEM Soap to clean the surface using a grey scrubber.
• For velour and carpet, clean the substrate with an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser.
• Clean vinyl once more with Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean plastic once more with Plastic & Leather Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean carpet and velour once more with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To encourage adhesion on ABS or PVC plastics, SEM provides Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, PP, EPDM and other thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the instructions for applying each of these products to ensure the best possible results.
