Important Considerations for Applying Aerosol Color Coat in Sandstone

• Aerosol Color Coat is not a dye, so shouldn’t be used for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subjected to heavy use or for 24 hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready for spraying, right out from the can.
• Vinyls with excessive amounts of plasticizers can need SEM Tac Free for a smooth surface.

Preparing Substrates for Application with Aerosol Color Coat in Sandstone

• To prep for applying Aerosol Color Coat, you will need additional SEM cleaners and adhesion promoters, depending on the surface.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, use SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, use an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the kind of plastic. With PVC or ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, EPDM, PP and other thermoplastics, apply Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow directions closely to guarantee the best possible outcomes.
