Aerosol Color Coat™ in Medium Parchment

Color Coat™ is a fade-resistant, mixable, long-lasting coating to restore or change the color of most all velour, carpet, vinyl, and plastic. Aerosol Color Coat Medium Parchment (SEM SKU 15843) comes in aerosol cans for simple use. Color Coat is OEM suggested and offered with 50 distinct colors and three different clear coats. Refinish car interiors and even motorcycle seats using Aerosol Color Coat. When you want versatility for restoring damaged or faded vehicle interiors or exteriors, choose Color Coat by SEM!

Important Considerations for Using Aerosol Color Coat in Medium Parchment

• Aerosol Color Coat is not a dye so shouldn’t be applied for drastic color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but shouldn’t be subject to heavy use or abrasion for 24 hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready for spraying, right out from the can.
• Vinyls with excess amounts of plasticizers may require SEM Tac Free for a smooth surface.
• When you need a mixed color, try using SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Preparing Substrates for Use of Aerosol Color Coat in Medium Parchment

• For plastic and vinyl, always apply SEM Soap to clean the surface with a grey scruff pad.
• For carpet and velour, clean the surface by using an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner.
• Clean vinyl once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• Clean plastic once more with Plastic & Leather Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean carpet and velour again with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To promote adhesion on PVC and ABS plastics, SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, TPO, EPDM and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the directions for using each of these products to guarantee the best results.
