Facts About Aerosol Color Coat in Flame Red

• Aerosol Color Coat is not a dye so shouldn’t be applied for significantly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subject to heavy use or for 24 hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is prepped to spray, right out of the can.
• Vinyls with large amounts of plasticizers might need SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.
• When you need a custom color, try using SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

How to Prep for Aerosol Color Coat in Flame Red

• For vinyl and plastic, always apply SEM Soap to clean the surface using a grey scruff pad.
• For carpet and velour, clean the substrate by using an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser.
• Clean vinyl once more with Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean plastic again with Plastic & Leather Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean carpet and velour once more with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To encourage adhesion on ABS and PVC plastics, SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, TPO, EPDM and other thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the instructions for applying each of these products to ensure the best results.
