Color Coat in Super White comes in four different can types: one gallon, 1 quart cone top, 16 oz cone top, and 8 oz cone top. Important Facts About Color Coat in Super White

• Even though Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat dries quickly but shouldn’t be subject to scraping or heavy use until twenty-four hours after applying.
• There is no requirement to thin Color Coat. It is made prepped to apply.
• Vinyls can have large amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth surface they need SEM Tac Free.
• Color Coat Flattener may be applied with all Color Coat intermix formulas to guarantee a close match with the original color.

How to Prep for Color Coat in Super White

• To prepare for applying Color Coat, you will need additional SEM cleaners and adhesion promoters based on the substrate.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, use SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, apply an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the kind of plastic. With ABS and PVC plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion promoter. For EPDM, TPO, PP and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions exactly to ensure the best possible outcomes.
