Important Considerations for Using Aerosol Color Coat in Light Oak

• Because Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but should not be subjected to or heavy use until 24 hours after applying.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made ready to spray.
• Vinyls can have excessive amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth finish they require SEM Tac Free.
• For matched colors, try our line of SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Prepping Surfaces for Use with Aerosol Color Coat in Light Oak

• To prep for using Aerosol Color Coat, you will need other SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters, based on the substrate.
• For cleaning plastic and vinyl, apply SEM Soap and XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, apply an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleanser and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the kind of plastic. With PVC or ABS plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, PP, EPDM and other thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow instructions closely to guarantee the best possible outcomes.
