Important Considerations for Using Aerosol Color Coat in Napa Red

• Because Aerosol Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat dries quickly but should not be subjected to scraping or heavy use until 24 hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is made prepped to spray.
• Vinyls can have large amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth surface they require SEM Tac Free.
• For mixed colors, consider our line of SEM Color Coat in a one quart cone top, and a one gallon can.

Preparing Substrates for Use of Aerosol Color Coat in Napa Red

• To prepare for using Aerosol Color Coat, you will need other SEM cleaners and adhesion promoters, based on the substrate.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, apply SEM Soap and XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, use an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the kind of plastic. With PVC and ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, EPDM, PP and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow instructions closely to ensure quality outcomes.
