Important Considerations for Using Aerosol Color Coat in Cordovan Brown

• Aerosol Color Coat isn’t a dye and so shouldn’t be used for distinctly different color changes.
• Aerosol Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subject to heavy use or abrasion for twenty-four hours after application.
• Aerosol Color Coat is ready for spraying, right out of the can.
• Vinyls with high amounts of plasticizers can require SEM Tac Free for a smooth surface.

Prepping Substrates for Application of Aerosol Color Coat in Cordovan Brown

• For vinyl and plastic, always apply SEM Soap to clean the surface using a grey scruff pad.
• For velour and carpet, clean the surface with an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser.
• Clean vinyl once more with Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean plastic once more with SEM Plastic & Leather Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean carpet and velour again with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To encourage adhesion on ABS or PVC plastics, SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For EPDM, PP, TPO and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the instructions for applying each of these products to guarantee the best results.
