Important Facts About Color Coat in Landau Black

• Color Coat is not a dye, so shouldn’t be applied for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat is fast drying but shouldn’t be subjected to heavy use or scraping for 24 hours after application.
• Color Coat is ready to spray right out of the can.
• Color Coat Flattener can be used with all Color Coat intermix formulas.
• Vinyls with excess amounts of plasticizers will need SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.

Prepping Surfaces for Application of Color Coat in Landau Black

• For vinyl and plastic, always apply SEM Soap to clean the surface by using a grey scrubber.
• For velour and carpet, clean the surface by using an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleanser.
• Clean vinyl again with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• Clean plastic again with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Plastic & Leather Prep.
• Clean velour and carpet again with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To guarantee adhesion on ABS and PVC plastics, SEM provides Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For TPO, PP, EPDM and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the instructions for using each of these products to ensure quality results.
