Color Coat™ is a fade resistant, versatile, permanent coating to renew or change the color of most carpet, velour, vinyl, and plastic. Color Coat Fast Green is offered in 4 different cans: 8 oz, 16 oz or 1 pint cone top and one gallon. Color Coat is OEM recommended and manufactured with a variety of colors, three different clear coats and thousands of OEM mixing formulas. Important Facts About Color Coat in Fast Green

• Even though Color Coat is a coating, as its name suggests, and not a dye, it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat dries quickly but shouldn’t be subjected to scraping or heavy use until 24 hours after applying.
• There is no need for thinning Color Coat. It is made prepped to use.
• Vinyls can have high amounts of plasticizers. If so, for a smooth surface they require SEM Tac Free.
• Color Coat Flattener may be applied with all Color Coat intermix formulas to ensure a closer match with the original color.

Prepping Surfaces for Use of Color Coat in Fast Green

• To prepare for using Color Coat, you will require additional SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters depending on the substrate.
• For cleaning plastic and vinyl, apply SEM Soap and XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, apply an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the type of plastic. With PVC and ABS plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion promoter. For PP, EPDM, TPO and other thermoplastics, apply Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions exactly to ensure professional outcomes.
