Considerations for Applying Color Coat in Fast Green

• Color Coat isn’t a dye so should not be used for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat is quick drying but shouldn’t be subject to heavy use or abrasion for twenty-four hours after applying.
• Color Coat is ready for spraying, right out of the can.
• Color Coat Flattener may be applied with any and all Color Coat intermix formulas.
• Vinyls with excessive amounts of plasticizers can need SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.

Prepping Surfaces for Use of Color Coat in Fast Green

• To prep for using Color Coat, you will require other SEM cleaners and adhesion promoters, depending on the surface.
• For cleaning plastic and vinyl, use SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, use an appropriate carpet or upholstery cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the type of plastic. With PVC or ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, EPDM, TPO and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
