Color Coat™ is a UV resistant, flexible, long-lasting coating that revitalizes or changes the color of most all carpet, plastic, vinyl, and velour. Color Coat Fast Red is shipped in 4 different cans: one gallon, 1 quart cone top, 16 oz cone top, and 8 oz cone top. Color Coat is OEM recommended and manufactured with a number of colors, 3 different clear coats and thousands of OEM mixing formulas. Renew auto interiors and even motorcycle seats with Color Coat. Important Facts About Color Coat in Fast Red

• Color Coat is not a dye, but it still shouldn’t be applied for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat is fast drying but should not be subject to heavy use or scraping for twenty-four hours after applying.
• Color Coat is prepped to apply right out of the can.
• Color Coat Flattener may be used with all Color Coat intermix formulas.
• Vinyls with excessive amounts of plasticizers may need SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.

Preparing Substrates for Use of Color Coat in Fast Red

• To prepare for applying Color Coat, you will require additional SEM cleaning agents and adhesion promoters based on the substrate.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, apply SEM Soap and XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, use an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the type of plastic. With ABS and PVC plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion promoter. For EPDM, PP, TPO and other thermoplastics, apply XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions closely to ensure the best possible outcomes.
