Considerations for Using Color Coat in Super White

• Color Coat isn’t a dye, but it still shouldn’t be applied for significantly different color changes.
• Color Coat is quick drying but shouldn’t be subjected to heavy use or scraping for twenty-four hours after application.
• Color Coat is ready to apply right out from the can.
• Color Coat Flattener may be used with any Color Coat intermix formulas.
• Vinyls with excessive amounts of plasticizers can need SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.

How to Prep for Color Coat in Super White

• To prepare for using Color Coat, you will need additional SEM cleaners and adhesion promoters depending on the substrate.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, apply SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, apply an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first identify the kind of plastic. With PVC or ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion promoter. For EPDM, TPO, PP and other thermoplastics, apply Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow manufacturer’s directions closely to guarantee the best possible outcomes.
