Color Coat is OEM suggested and sold with fifty distinct colors, 2 different clear coats and thousands of OEM mixing formulas. Important Facts About Color Coat in Satin Gloss Clear

• Color Coat isn’t a dye, so it should not be used for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat is fast drying but should not be subjected to heavy use or scraping for 24 hours after application.
• Color Coat is prepped to spray, right out of the can.
• Color Coat Flattener may be used with all Color Coat intermix formulas.
• Vinyls with excessive amounts of plasticizers might need SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.

Prepping Surfaces for Use with Color Coat in Satin Gloss Clear

• For plastic and vinyl, always use SEM Soap to clean the substrate with a grey scruff pad.
• For velour and carpet, clean the surface with an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner.
• Clean vinyl once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• Clean plastic again with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Plastic & Leather Prep.
• Clean velour and carpet again with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To encourage adhesion on PVC or ABS plastics, SEM offers Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, EPDM, TPO and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Always follow the instructions for applying each of these products to ensure quality results.
