Use Color Coat™in Satin Gloss Clear when you need a versatile, fade-resistant, and long-lasting coating that renews or changes the color of velour, plastic, vinyl, and carpet. OEM recommended, Color Coat offers fifty different colors and three different clear coats that can also be mixed to provide 1,000’s of OEM color choices in matched formulas. Color Coat in Satin Gloss Clear (SEM SKU 13011) is available in two different cans: a one-quart cone top, and a one gallon can. Important Facts About Color Coat in Satin Gloss Clear

• Color Coat is a coating and not a dye so it is not recommended for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat dries quickly but should not be subjected to heavy use until 24 hours after applying.
• There is no need to thin Color Coat as it is made prepped to spray.
• Vinyls can have large amounts of plasticizers. If yours does, you will need to use SEM Tac Free to ensure a smooth finish.
• Color Coat Flattener can be applied with any and all Color Coat intermix formulas to assure a close match with the original color.

Prepping Surfaces for Application with Color Coat in Satin Gloss Clear

To prep for using Color Coat, you will need additional SEM cleansers and adhesion promoters, based on the substrate.

• For cleaning plastic and vinyl, apply SEM Soap or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner and Vinyl Prep or Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For cleaning velour and carpet, apply an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the type of plastic. With PVC and ABS plastics apply SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For PP, TPO, EPDM and other thermoplastics, apply Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow instructions closely to ensure quality outcomes.
