Our industry is becoming more dependent upon the use of water-based products. Due to the increasing rules and regulations, we will eventually may have no choice but to switch to water based colors. Water-based products are also better for your health and the environment.
Our Water Base System is a unique blend of waterborne resins with a high solid waterborne polyurethane dispersion. It is specially designed for increased flexibility without cracking. An additional feature is the rapid cure development. Within four hours the coating will attain 50% of total curing, eight hours 80% which is a 30% increase. We have designed this product for high-performance uses, where durability, flexibility, chemical and abrasion resistance are required. It provides this product excellent adhesion over a variety of substrates, especially soft pliable leather. The aliphatic backbone results in an excellent UV and salt spray resistance, permitting its use in exterior applications.
