Considerations for Applying Color Coat in Fast Green

• Color Coat isn’t a dye, but it still shouldn’t be applied for significantly different color changes.
• Color Coat is quick drying but should not be subjected to heavy use or abrasion for twenty-four hours after applying.
• Color Coat is prepped to use right out of the can.
• Color Coat Flattener may be used with any Color Coat intermix formulas.
• Vinyls with excess amounts of plasticizers might need SEM Tac Free for a smooth surface.

How to Prepare for Color Coat in Fast Green

• To prepare for applying Color Coat, you will need other SEM cleansers and adhesion promoters depending on the surface.
• For cleaning vinyl and plastic, use SEM Soap and Vinyl Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• For cleaning carpet and velour, use an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleanser and SEM Plastic and Leather Prep.
• For plastics, first determine the type of plastic. With ABS and PVC plastics use SEM Sand Free Adhesion promoter. For PP, TPO, EPDM and other thermoplastics, apply XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions closely to guarantee the best possible results.
