Color Coat™ is a UV-resistant, flexible, permanent coating to restore or change the color of the majority of carpet, velour, plastic, and vinyl. Color Coat Landau Black is available in 4 different cans: 8 oz cone top, 16 oz cone top, 1 quart cone top, and one gallon. Color Coat is OEM recommended and offered with a number of colors, 3 different clear coats and 1000s of OEM mixing formulas. Refinish auto interiors and even motorcycle seats with Color Coat. Considerations for Applying Color Coat in Landau Black

• Color Coat is not a dye, but it still should not be used for distinctly different color changes.
• Color Coat is quick drying but shouldn’t be subject to heavy use or scraping for 24 hours after applying.
• Color Coat is prepped to apply right out of the can.
• Color Coat Flattener can be used with any Color Coat intermix formulas.
• Vinyls with excess amounts of plasticizers might require SEM Tac Free for a smooth finish.

Prepping Substrates for Application of Color Coat in Landau Black

• For plastic and vinyl, always use SEM Soap to clean the surface by using a grey scrubber.
• For carpet and velour, clean the substrate using an appropriate upholstery or carpet cleaner
• Clean vinyl once more with XXX Universal Surface Cleaner or Vinyl Prep.
• Clean plastic once more with Plastic & Leather Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
• Clean velour and carpet once more with Plastic and Leather Prep.
• To guarantee adhesion on PVC and ABS plastics, SEM offers Sand Free Adhesion Promoter. For EPDM, TPO, PP and other thermoplastics, use XXX Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
